I was looking for vinyl siding to do repairs and happened to be lucky enough to have Wayne assist me. He was on the ball right from the beginning! Very thorough in explaining the process of ordering from the vendor; he’s for the customer in trying to keep shipping costs down and always followed up when he said he would. I cannot be more thankful for the exceptional customer service received from Wayne at Shelburne Home Hardware!
The past year service and product availability have declined. Last summer I went in asking for vinyl siding, Asked at the service desk for white double 4 siding (having purchased it here twice before). The associate behind the counter seemed at a loss until I explained what it was, he then said we don't sell that and moved on to the next customer. Over the next year whenever I needed simple hardware they would be sold out or not carry it. I have moved on to Home Depot even though its an extra drive.

The females at the register seem to always have arrogant attitudes. Especially when I use our business account they take far too long asking which account id like to use even though I can clearly read their screen. I explain multiple times which account as well provide one of the only two authorized account users. They also act as if I’m inconveniencing them by interrupting their personal conversations. 5 stars for offering contractor accounts which provide discounts on certain items. Our account is the reason I choose to shop here. The poor cashier attitudes get worse after I charge our account then ask to can pay for the items by debit or cash immediately after to avoid interest. However a young man stocking shelves in the paint section went above n beyond to assist me without me even asking for his help. 5 stars for him, please promote him to a position he’s able to interact with customers or management since he is clearly a natural ppl pleaser who enjoys helping customers unlike all the females “working” socializing amongst each other at the check out. Please sell the attachments/replacement Vileda mop head that your store charges double compared to Home Depot.
This store is a must for any small town. Great selection to choose from with friendly staff that are always willing to help. They've supplied the paint for my house, the plywood & shingles for my roof and every little gadget inside. I'll be a Home Hardware customer 4 Life!
The garden centre employee was amazing today. So informative. Being a new plant owner since early spring I had so many questions about cactus and succulent plants. She had all the answers.
